Benefits and Opportunities to Using myUKinfo

Inform: The information on myUKinfo is available in English as well as a range of other languages, so it should help those working with migrant workers to find the information they need as well as guide the migrant workers to information in their own language.

Constantly reviewed and growing: The myUKinfo portal is regularly being reviewed and updated and we are always working to add services to the portal.  After having been launched with access to national information, the portal now offers a local information service. This new service provides space for local services, local companies and local community groups.  Local Authorities and other organisations can now cost effectively add local content to myUKinfo.com aimed at migrant communities in their own language.

Out-Reach: MyUKinfo provides an opportunity for Professionals and Service Providers to reach out to migrant workers who may not know where to go for help when they arrive in the UK. MyUKinfo has thousands of visitors per month from countries around the world. Many Service Providers have found myUKinfo information cards useful to give their migrant worker clients, to help signpost to the portal for access to information in languages.
