Credit Unions

A credit union is a non-profit organization that offers financial services similar to a bank, but the ownership of the company is shared by its members. 

 

Credit Unions serve groups that share something in common, such as where they work, live, or go to church. They offer savings and value loans, plus they are local. Many credit unions offer a range of services including current accounts, benefits direct, Individual Saving Accounts (ISAs) and Child Trust Funds.
