Utilities

This section provides information on utilities, including resources to help you pay for your utilities.

A utility bill is an extra bill outside your mortgage or rent that pays for your gas, water or electricity.  It may also include your telephone bill.

If you are having trouble paying your utility bills, your supplier may cut off your supply, leaving you without heat, lights, water or a telephone connection.

Visit the DirectGov website for information on what to do if you are having trouble paying your utility bills.

If you are having problems dealing with your utility supplier you can call Consumer Direct or you can visit their website below.

Consumer Direct: 08454 040 506*

Visit the Consumer Direct website for information on energy suppliers.
