There are two types of renting: public sector and private renting.
Public Sector RentingPublic sector renting includes renting from a local authority such as a council, housing association or housing co-operative. Public sector renting also includes social housing.

To find private renting accommodation you can look in your local, regional or national newspaper, visit your local estate agents or you can search online by searching for “renting”.
